The job duties of the successful candidate will include curriculum development; advising students; teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in software engineering; participating in the continuous teaching assessment activities of the School of EECS; effectively communicating and interacting with students; and collaborating with others within the School, the University, or other organizations.
Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline, or hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and have several years of teaching or industrial experience in software engineering.
Candidates with exceptional teaching credentials in software engineering with demonstrated ability in curriculum development, student advising, and scholarly work are sought. The position is in the School’s remote program at WSU North Puget Sound, Everett, WA. Rank (Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor) is negotiable depending on the final candidate’s credentials and experience.
