Informs students at various stages of their academic experience of the available university services and resources. Assists students with specific student account information in the following departments: Admissions, Registration, Records, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Student Identification. Assists students with on-line student services, i.e. admission application, on-line pre-advisement, financial aid, registration, student records, UV Link, e-mail, etc. Responds to text messages on the Instant Info account.
High School Diploma or GED required and 1 year related experience.
Knowledge of student advisement methods/techniques.
Skills in the use of technology.
Ability to work with diversity of personalities.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to handle conflict management and proactively problem-solve.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to anticipate student needs.
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
