Provide leadership for and coordination of academic and administrative activities. Assist in supervising and coordinating all personnel and administrative functions for optimal productivity. Assist in implementing all academic, fiscal and human resources policies. Oversee the creation of term schedules, assist in the recruitment/interviewing of new Adjunct Faculty. Provide advising to new and returning students. maintain accurate and timely record management. Attend education fairs and recruit new students. Assist with the coordination and facilitation of new student orientations and open house events for prospective students. Responsible for processing Admissions paperwork/assist students with registration. Liaison between the San Diego Education Center and other university departments as well as military base education offices. Assist with marketing/social media efforts for the San Diego Education Center.
Support the University’s mission and core values as a contributing member of the University’s community. Perform as the primary assistant to the Director and act as the Director during periods of his/her absence.
Supervise and coordinate all personnel and administrative activities in the assigned office. Perform other duties as assigned by the director.
Experience with academic administration. Excellent supervisory and customer service skills. Ability to effectively plan and organize work. Excellent computer skills. Experience working with military and veteran students, military voluntary education programs and TA/VA procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
