Detailed Job Description

The Economics Department is seeking part-time, adjunct faculty to teach Principles of Microeconomics (EC111) and/or Principles of Macroeconomics (EC112). Depending on qualifications, the successful applicant may, on occasion, be asked to teach upper level undergraduate or graduate economics courses. Instructors teaching principles courses choose their own textbook and course design; however, teaching a core set of topics is required. In addition to the required, weekly class meetings instructors are expected to schedule fixed office hours; approximately one office hour for every three hours of class time. 

Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics, or a closely related field and prior economics teaching experience.
