Detailed Job Description

The Strategic Planning Coordinator assures the success of strategic planning at AACC by managing the key components of strategic planning at AACC. This position will support a culture of strategic planning on the campus through presentations, trainings, and communications. This position also organizes meetings of the Strategic Planning Council (SPC) and the Institutional Assessment Team (IAT).  

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher required

Minimum of three years' experience working with committees, organizing meeting agendas and materials, and summarizing meeting notes.

Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate complex analysis to a non-technical audience.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience preparing and delivering trainings or PowerPoint presentations.

Ability to respond to requests for information quickly and on short notice.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with attention to details and deadlines.

Ability to maintain state of the art technical skills.  

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred
