Description of Duties:
The Economics Department is seeking part-time, adjunct faculty to teach Business Statistics (GB213). Depending on qualifications, the successful applicant may, on occasion, be asked to teach upper level undergraduate or graduate statistics or econometrics courses. Business Statistics instructors teach from a common textbook but choose their own course design; however, instructors are required to teach a core set of topics. Additional Description of Duties: In addition to the required, weekly class meetings instructors are expected to schedule fixed office hours; approximately one office hour for every three hours of class time.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics, Math, Statistics or a closely related field and prior statistics teaching experience.

Software Knowledge: Statistical functionality of Microsoft Excel and SPSS. Working knowledge of Blackboard's course management software is useful.
