Detailed Job Description

The Associate Director Advancement Services - Research works independently with oversight from the Associate Vice President of Advancement Services. This position will take lead responsibility for various special projects.

Additional Department Summary:

The Assoc Dir Adv Svcs - Research is responsible for identifying and providing information on individual, corporation, and foundation major gift prospects to assist individuals within and outside the University who conduct University advancement programs. Manages and provides strategic direction of the biographical records team to ensure reliable and timely biographical data is available in Advancement database. This position manages the development research and biographical records group and is the focal point of information and research on donors, potential donors and constituents for the University. The information and research provided by this staff is vital to the successful advancement activities of the President, Vice President for University Advancement, Associate Vice President for Development, Deans, Advancement/Development Officers and Annual Fund in the University's colleges, schools, and other divisions.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, OR a combination of education and experience where sufficient knowledge and skills were acquired.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters of Library and Information StudiesBased on Qualifications
