The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan College invites applicants for two full-time tenure track positions at the assistant/associate professor levels in the Solid Mechanics/Systems and Thermal/Fluids areas, starting Fall 2016. A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. The applicant must be able to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in service. Industrial experience, a PE license, and bio-mechanics background are positive attributes which will enhance the application, but are not required.
