Detailed Job Description

This position serves as the functional lead related to the DegreeWorks degree audit system and its deployment across the University. This position must show initiative and creativity to take independent action with minimal supervision in order to resolve and interpret academic degree requirement issues with respect to the setup and maintenance of DegreeWorks. This position provides assistance with the implementation of upgrades for the maintenance of and modification to the degree audit system.

Additional Department Summary:

The position develops and provides DegreeWorks training for students, faculty, and staff around the University. The position is responsible for liaising with the Office of the University Registrar DegreeWorks technical support, Ellucian DegreeWorks technical support, and the Office of Information Technology Business Analysts and Systems Development Staff.

Required Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant work experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills. Excellent personal computer skills are required, including demonstrated knowledge and application of the Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Valid U.S. driver's license required. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

Major in mathematics, computer science, management information systems preferred. At least one year of work experience in higher education or business preferred. Web based experience preferred. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
