The Law Tax and Financial Planning (LTFP) Department at Bentley University is always interested in learning about qualified candidates for future openings as law adjunct faculty. Although we do not have any immediate openings, we encourage all qualified applicants to put their application into this pool as openings can occur at any time. Given our current course offerings, our needs most likely would be in one or more of the following legal areas: Business Law, Environmental Law, Gender and the Law, International Law, Management and Human Resources Law, Law & Ethics, Law for Entrepreneurs, Legal Environment of Business, Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Marketing Law, Media Law, Moot Court, Minorities and the Law, Race and the Law, Real Estate Law, Securities Regulation, Sports & Entertainment Law, and White Collar Crime. Therefore, if an applicant has expertise in one of these areas they are encouraged to list that expertise in response to the relevant question in the online application. It is possible that expertise in other topical areas, such as Healthcare Law or Intellectual Property Law, may become of interest as we develop new courses so applicants should list these as well. Based on the needs of the Department, we will actively source candidates from this applicant pool when hiring law adjunct faculty.
JD with a minimum of 3 years of practice in relevant area of expertise.
Prior teaching experience in higher education a plus.
