The Department of Political Science and the Thomas W. Smith Institute for Political Economy at Miami University is searching for a Program Coordinator.
This position will support the JANUS Forum and Thomas W. Smith Institute for Political Economy by serving as a key event coordinator, facilitate communication to internal and external stakeholders, and liaison with AEI Campus Outreach Staff. Support the Department of Political Science by helping coordinate departmental speakers and events, help manage the department website, serve as liaison with College Communication officer for the department newsletter and other media/promotional outlets, work with College Democrats and College Republicans on jointly sponsored programs, connect with Law & Public Policy Scholars program, and other tasks as assigned by the Chair or Department Administrative Assistant. Position can begin July 1, 2016 for a 12-month period, with flexibility of duration of appointment.
BA in political science or related field; new Miami University graduate, recently involved in JANUS.
