Under general supervision, is responsible to lead departmental personnel and daily operations; maintains and administers departmental budgets; develops and implements departmental procedures and processes; coordinates financial and personnel processes; compiles data and prepares reports; monitors office computer equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with two (2) years of experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains budget; logs and approves expenditures; prepares financial reports; processes invoices; manages accounting systems and reconciles bank and/or budget accounts; prepares statistical and financial reports.

Leads staff in the daily operation of the department; prepares and implements departmental procedures; trains new employees; prepares performance standards and reviews.

Provides administrative support to particular division area for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities; interacts with numerous internal and external constituents, including major donors to the University; researches and gathers information, and expedites flow of information to staff.

Compiles data for reports; composes routine correspondence; transcribes information; maintains calendar and confidential files; plans meetings; assists with coordinating special programs and events; schedules appointments.

Maintains payroll calendar and serves as official timekeeper, with signature authority; monitors and distributes personnel forms and labor reports; monitors office computer equipment.

Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
