Detailed Job Description

The Data Warehouse Administrator provides technical expertise in support of Bentley’s enterprise reporting, ETL, and operational development assets. The Data Warehouse Administrator is proficient in the technical aspects of data management including data integration and data warehouse development, maintenance and support including design methodology and performance tuning. This position has primary responsibility for ongoing data integration and data warehouse/reporting operations.  
In addition, the Data Warehouse Administrator will operate as a member of the Data Warehouse Group tasked with creating and enhancing enterprise information solutions in such areas as: metadata management, master data management, business intelligence, analytics, data integration and other elements of the enterprise information infrastructure. These elements will focus on high-level information needs that will be required to meet the university’s goals.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience Requirements)

One to three years of data warehousing and business intelligence tools including (preferably) Cognos 10, ETL and data integration tools. Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle 10g database. Informatica experience required. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science. Demonstrated understanding of data warehousing concepts (ODS, DW, DM, BI, ETL, metadata). Active interest in continuous professional development and skill enhancement. Capacity to work in a team environment or independently, to manage own time, to make accurate estimates and meet deadlines; to be thorough and methodological.
