Academic Advisor: Southern Illinois University Carbondale, an NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley Conference.
Responsibilities: Counseling and mentoring student-athletes, monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes, coordinating student-athlete academic services, overseeing academic and scholarship nominations.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in athletic academic assistance with Division 1 student athletes, excellent computer skills, and thorough knowledge of NCAA academic requirements, or a Master's degree and 1 year of the required experience.
Appointment: 12-month term, full-time, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
