Detailed Job Description

The Instructional Technologist II utilizes pedagogically sound principles to assist faculty with the integration of technology into instruction to enhance teaching and learning. This position works in collaboration with other academic support professionals to provide instructional technology evaluation, faculty support, and documentation to enhance teaching and learning. This position provides consultations with faculty and others in academic areas.

Additional Department Summary:

The video production specialist will be responsible for developing video concept ideas; executing production of video concept, which includes videoing, location, site selection, site approvals, sound, lighting, editing, and continuity among productions; as well as editing for a diverse group of mediums and constituents. The video productions will be used for TV, online education, and on websites. This position will be required to travel for video production shoots and information gathering.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree and three (3) years of related experience; OR Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related experience, OR Master's degree; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, education and/or certification from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been obtained. Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Experience working in video that includes knowledge of camera's, lighting, sound, editing, mediums, production, and delivery.

Skills and Knowledge:

Must be able to use video camera equipment, sound and lighting equipment, ability to ensure quality and consistency of videos, ability to edit footage into a cohesively. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report as determined by the insurance carrier.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in video production using current technology. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
