Under direct supervision, maintains and updates data and information on
students for retention and academic performance. Contacts at-risk university students through email, phone, and/or personal visits to provide additional support as needed.
High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience directly related to the Summary of Duties.
Knowledge of working with diverse individuals and personalities.
Records maintenance skills.
Skills in organization and coordination for efficiency of workload productivity.
Ability to work as an effective team member with other staff members.
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to a diverse group or individuals.
Ability to instruct and motivate students to continue their education.
Ability and experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and
