Detailed Job Description

The Grant and Contract Manager is an interdisciplinary position with responsibilities for overseeing grant and contract administration for the Water Research Center (WRC) and Center for Environmental Research, Education and Outreach (CEREO). Other responsibilities include coordination of scheduling, maintenance management, and oversight of purchase and maintenance of equipment for the PACCAR facilities. Also includes administrative duties involving institution policies and procedures, budget preparation and review, and personnel practices and procedures.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Experience working with extramural awards at Washington State University or within a higher education setting.

Monthly Salary

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
