The Sociology and Anthropology department at Wheaton College, Illinois invites applications for an assistant (possibly associate) professor of anthropology. This is a tenure-track faculty position to begin July 1, 2012. Geographic specialization is open with preference given to those candidates with expertise in areas outside Southeast Asia. Responsibilities include teaching introductory and upper-division courses, such as ethnographic methods. Applicants should have earned a doctorate in anthropology. Preference will be given to candidates with competencies in the qualitative or quantitative analysis of ethnographic data.
