PART-TIME LIBRARY ASSISTANT: 8-12 hours per week, excluding state holidays and semester breaks. Two evenings per week: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Haverhill Campus and occasional Saturdays during academic semester 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Assist patrons at the Library circulation desk and with computers and other library technology. Essential services include handling circulation transactions using an automated library system, shelving, stack maintenance, shelf reading, and assisting students with computer application questions. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree required. Applicant must be experienced in providing service to students and faculty preferably in an academic library, and/or be an MLS student with interest in academic librarianship. Ability to work independently and the willingness to work with a diverse population required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and workplace technology. Experience with emerging technologies and social media is a plus.
Salary: $15.67 per hour, no fringe benefits
