The IT Technical Specialist II performs a broad scope of professional IT activities requiring experienced, professional knowledge and application of IT principles, practices and procedures. Usually requires evaluation, originality or ingenuity.

Additional Department Summary:

The Systems Analyst position will perform a broad scope of professional IT activities requiring knowledge and application of IT principles, practices and procedures. Usually requires evaluation, originality or ingenuity. This individual will be involved with the support and administration of system applications, process review and recommendation, development and implementation of technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with web/graphic design and development, for cross-platform, cross-browser environments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher and 1 year of experience in a relevant IT field (Student or Graduate Assistant, Intern, or student oriented experience will be considered), OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, education and/or certification from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been obtained. Knowledge of intermediate programming, networking, system, multimedia or instructional technology skills. May require intermediate level training or certification.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of programming, graphic design, web development. Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with users of varying degrees of technical ability and understanding. Must possess teamwork skills necessary to collaborate and produce IT solutions. Valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier. Final candidate must submit to and successfully pass a post offer drug test. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
