Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor in Family Studies in Family Financial Planning (non-tenure track).
Teach courses in our Family Studies undergraduate program in Oxford, primarily related to a new track currently in development that focuses on Family Resource Management. Create courses and curriculum necessary to add family resource management track to current major, including course work required for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential. The person in this position will be responsible for creating the necessary courses for Family Resource Management track and teaching department courses, which together will equate to a full-load of FSW courses each semester. Responsibilities may also include committee work, student advising and other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Department Chair.
Current credentials in Financial Planning such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP); demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Earned master’s degree in Human Development and Family Relations, Family Financial Planning, Consumer Economics, Family Resource Management, Family and Consumer Science or related field for appointment as Instructor. Earned PhD in Human Development and Family Relations, Family Financial Planning, Consumer Economics, Family Resource Management, Family and Consumer Science, or related field for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor.
