The Director of Community Engagement will provide campus leadership for students, faculty and staff who want to serve and learn in the community.

Additional Department Summary:

This position will provide campus and community-wide leadership for faculty, staff, students, and community partners interested in community-based scholarship, research, partnerships, and collaborations that seek to connect resources to address unmet community needs. The position will implement strategies intended to support and develop campus-wide community engaged student scholars.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in a higher education environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer doctorate with research experience. Prefer research documentation and information gathering skills. Prefer candidate to have knowledge/skills required for success academic publication submissions, conference presentations, resource development including academic grant proposal writing, budgeting, staffing, and developing connections with funders. Prefer demonstrated experience building partnerships with the academic community. Also prefer candidate to have a thorough knowledge of the theories and practices related to the development of college students, knowledge of ethnic minority cultures and understanding of the needs of underrepresented students. 61 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 59883.24 Midpoint - $ 87131.16
