Bentley University is seeking a full-time non-tenure-track lecturer in law and tax to begin July 1, 2016. This is a position on a year to year contract. Candidates for this position should have demonstrated excellence in teaching and a proven recent track record of teaching both undergraduate and graduate introductory law courses within a business program/curriculum, as well as evidence of an ability to teach ethics within such courses. In addition, proven ability to teach any of the following courses will be considered favorably: graduate tax courses in an MST program; undergraduate law elective courses within an undergraduate business curriculum; and/or graduate law elective courses within an MBA program. Although the chosen candidate will predominantly teach both undergraduate and graduate law courses, they will likely also teach graduate tax courses from time to time, as needed by the Department. The standard teaching load is 4-4 (four courses per semester).

The candidate must have excellent credentials including a J.D. and admission to practice in one state’s jurisdiction. The applicant must also have three years of relevant work experience and three years of relevant teaching experience.
