Under general direction, presents educational programs and seminars to groups and individuals; provides system training to the SLUCare clinical departments and Practice Management Operation’s (PMO) employees; develops training materials and documentation; conducts quality control audits.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with two (2) years of related experience. Direct experience in performing quality review analysis in billing and collection activities preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Presents educational classes for SLUCare employees in order to develop skills necessary for GE – IDX proficiency; identifies and develops training and other programs to maintain quality of Practice Management Operations functions, such as registration, collections, and charge, entry

Develops new training documentation from knowledge and understanding of GE-IDX system intention and clinic actual use; creates standard operating procedures and job aides for employees to follow during orientation period; and modifies documents during system upgrades

Visits clinics to train employees on-site as requested; documents training given on the site visit for PMO Administration and makes recommendations to clinic managers to optimize patient time and improve satisfaction scores

Develops and conducts quality audit reviews for Practice Management Operations (PMO) employees

Attends ad hoc committee meetings to speak on behalf of training team

Performs other duties as assigned.
