The Internet Communication Specialist is responsible for on-line marketing and communications activities within a college, division or program.

Additional Department Summary:

The Internet Communication Specialist is responsible for managing and growing internet/electronic marketing for the College of Continuing Studies division of Professional Development and Conference Services. Internet/electronic marketing includes, but is not limited to, online advertising (banner ads), e-mail campaigns, website development/updates, paid search and organic search optimization. This individual will provide leadership, strategy, and delivery of breakthrough online marketing strategies, creative, campaigns, measurement (Web analytic tools) and optimization. The Internet Communications Specialist will work directly with the Marketing and Program Managers for Program Development and Marketing to support the internet/electronic marketing activities for division. This individual will be highly motivated, goal driven, a self-starter, detailed oriented, have good communication skills, both written and verbal and will be able to work effectively across functional groups. This individual will be proficient with Microsoft Word and EXCEL.

Required Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, computer science, management information systems, graphic design, communications or other relevant field and at least two (2) years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree or higher in an unrelated field and at least three (3) years of related experience or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred, but not required skill includes some proficiency with HTML coding and Microsoft Access. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
