The Administrator for Shared Scientific Resources ( ) is the financial manager and program administrator of approximately 40 Einstein scientific core facilities. Core facilities are research resources that provide shared access to instruments, technologies and services. Responsibilities include financial and programmatic management of the Shared Facilities Management System (SFMS) and operational leadership for administrative and business functions. The administrator provides support to core facility directors and evaluates facility performance. The position reports to the Office of the Dean.

The University offers an excellent compensation package, and a broad range of employee benefit plans, including immediate participation in the University’s retirement plan. Staff members are typically eligible for four weeks paid vacation each year.  Additionally, there is a shuttle to nearby subway locations.

  • Develop and implement business processes
  • Ensure compliance with NIH guidelines
  • Evaluate ongoing operations, develop recommendations operational efficiencies.
  • Supervise Shared Facilities Management System (SFMS)
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Manage pilot project funding programs


  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred
  • Preferred Major Field of Study: Business / Healthcare Administration
  • Experience Requirement: 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in a Medical School

  • Strong financial analysis and business technology skills
  • Proficiency in excel
