The Department of Psychology at Wheaton College (IL) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position and program coordinator for our new M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program, to begin July 2012. Responsibilities will include teaching, clinical supervision, program coordination, and active scholarship. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in experiential teaching, competence in clinical supervision and mentoring, and excellence in MFT research and scholarship. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to the integration of Christian faith and theology with the theory and practice of marriage and family therapy. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy or the equivalent, be MFT licensed or license eligible in the State of Illinois, and hold the AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation or eligibility. Administrative experience is highly desirable. Clinical and research specialization open; interest in global MFT issues and underserved populations is highly desirable.
