Study Abroad Assistant (part-time) to supervise student ambassador and volunteer program; provide introductory study abroad advising; promotion and outreach of study abroad through presentations, tabling and fairs; development of advising and curriculum integration resources; assist with office events such as orientations, fairs, info sessions and re-entry programming; additional projects depending on student interest; conduct survey assessment and analysis of data; additional projects as assigned.

Study Abroad Assistant (part-time) to supervise student ambassador and volunteer program; provide introductory study abroad advising; promotion and outreach of study abroad through presentations, tabling and fairs; development of advising and curriculum integration resources; assist with office events such as orientations, fairs, info sessions and re-entry programming; additional projects depending on student interest; conduct survey assessment and analysis of data; additional projects as assigned.

This position is designed to meet the requirements in an International Education degree program; preferred start date of June 2016.

Minimum Qualifications

This position is designed to meet the requirements in an International Education degree program; preferred start date of June 2016.

Required qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree; completion of one year of a graduate program in International Education; highly self-motivated; strong enthusiasm for study abroad; comfortable with public speaking and strong communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with other team members. 

Preferred Qualifications

Desire: Experience living, working or studying abroad; leadership and volunteer management.
