The Quinnipiac School of Nursing collaborates and shares facilities with the School of Health Sciences and the newly formed Frank H. Netter, M.D. School of Medicine. Located on the beautifully landscaped grounds of the North Haven Campus of Quinnipiac, our building features state of the art technology, 24 teaching laboratories including five high fidelity simulation suites, adult /neonatal intensive care units, physical exam suites and a 'high tech' accessible apartment. Our additional shared resources being built include large conference spaces, a new health sciences library, two simulated operating room suites and numerous standardized patient rooms and anatomy laboratories, all available by 2013
Applicants should be prepared to teach across graduate and undergraduate curriculum, pursue a program of scholarship, and engage in service to the School, University and profession.
- A doctorate in nursing or a master's degree in nursing with a doctorate in a related field.
- Eligibility for Connecticut RN and/or APRN licensure.
- Current or recent practice in clinical nursing.
- Experience in baccalaureate and/or graduate nursing education.
- Evidence of or potential for a scholarly trajectory.
- Certification as an APRN is a plus.
