Under limited supervision, maintains an efficient and effective work environment for patient-centered care; coordinates the clinic’s daily functions by supervising staff and communicating with the dentists, other providers, and patients; organizes and orders the necessary equipment, immunizations and supplies for patient care; oversees patient flow providing seamless care for patients through triage, billing, scheduling, and education.

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with related coursework, and two (2) years of related work experience, which includes supervisory experience.
Oversees business operations of the clinic by assisting dentists and other providers; actively supervises staff and patient flow through an efficiently run clinical setting with adequate staffing; supervises and evaluates clinic support staff; and assists in hiring process for dental assistant vacancies.
Provides treatment fees, financial options and insurance coverage to prospective clients; explains the clinic procedures involved during the beginning of treatment; bills patient accounts monthly; posts and balances patient accounts daily; submits insurance claims; and handles office correspondence in a timely manner.
Processes daily and monthly financial reports; organizes patient account records to comply with HIPAA guidelines
Assists residents regarding clinical procedures and concerns, such as treatment plans, insurance coverage and procedure fees; monitors clinic procedures; maintains equipment and materials inventory; reports equipment problems; and performs other duties as assigned.
