•May work closely with College Credit Plus (CCP), Degree in Three (D3), TRIO, and/or High Tech Academy (HTA) students, staff, faculty, and administrators to improve Tri-C conversion rates by creating a clearly defined transfer process and system of developing and maintaining academic plans for each student
•May be responsible for the systemic tracking of CCP, D3, TRIO, and/or HTA students transferring to a four year institution
•May work closely with upper-classmen to increase Tri-C completion rates by creating a clearly defined transfer process and system of developing and maintaining academic plans for each student
•May work with IPEDS cohort students to increase completion and transfer rates
•May be responsible for the systemic tracking of transfer-ready students transferring to and from Tri-C
•Coordinates support efforts for new, continuing and transfer students including recruitment and retention strategies
•Assists in faculty development and student events communication efforts with transfer students and assigned Campus faculty
•Assists in the institutionalizing new practices and improvements in ongoing operations.
•Assists in the systemic tracking of transfer students who use pre-transfer planning services
•May represent the department at College-wide events or to community constituents as directed
•Performs other duties as assigned
•Master’s degree in education or a related field and a minimum of two years of demonstrated secondary or post-secondary instructional and/or student services experience
•Demonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team
•Demonstrated experience in a role requiring diverse problem solving methods in a variety of situations
•Demonstrated experience with minority and adult learners
•Demonstrated experience in providing professional development for peers
•Demonstrated experience in project, budget, and personnel management and evaluation
•Demonstrated experience with Blackboard, Banner, or other Tri-C specific programs
