Analyzes and assess the field of professional writing and editing through first-hand experience. Produces various types of workplace documentation utilizing professional writing/editing. Explores and implements advertising and marketing theories as they relate to producing written materials for product promotion. Gains experience in writing and effective execution of grant proposals. Develops skills in curriculum development and material compilation.
Currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited institution in a masters or doctorate program directly related to the summary of duties; relevant coursework to be determined by the hiring department.
Current graduate student
Understanding of professional writing and editing.
Previous coursework and experience in marketing and advertising.
Understanding of business theories and practices regarding research projects.
Basic understanding of curriculum development.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Marketing and social media skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work as effective team member.
