The Department of Political Science and the Thomas W. Smith Institute for Political Economy at Miami University: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor and Academic Coordinator.
Searching for a colleague with research and teaching interests in American political economy—the nexus between politics and economics in the U.S.—and/or issues related to the enduring legacy of the Framers of the American constitution. The successful candidate will teach courses, advise students, work closely with the Miami University Janus Forum, and coordinate the academic programming associated with the Thomas W Smith Institute. Academic-year appointment with one month of summer duties (August 1 through May 31); renewable position based on performance and funding.
Ph.D. in political science, economics, or related field, which must be successfully completed no later than December 31, 2016.
