The School of Information Systems and Applied Technologies (ISAT) anticipates one or more non-Tenure Track teaching positions in the area of Technical Resource Management (TRM). ISAT is within the College of Applied Sciences and Arts (CASA), Southern Illinois University (SIU) Carbondale. CASA is the third largest undergraduate academic unit at SIU Carbondale, a doctoral research-extensive university. ISAT provides three BS degree programs for SIU undergraduate students - Electronic Systems Technologies (EST), information Systems Technologies (IST), and Technical Resource Management (TRM). The successful candidate(s) will deliver online undergraduate courses (http://isat.siu.edu/undergraduate/online-progams/trm-online.php). This is a term, non-Tenure Track appointment.
Lecturers may be needed in one or more of the following areas: quality or quality management, fiscal management in a technical environment (non-accounting). The following online courses are taught: TRM 316, 332, 361, 362, 363e, 364, 383, 421, 426, 440, 464, and 470. Qualifications: Master's degree in a major appropriate to one or more of the TRM disciplines noted above with strong industry project management experience. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years technical experience in a relevant industry. Proven leadership and management of technical personnel, documented project management experience or project team involvement, experience in sustainability development, and managing technology and trade.
Effective Date: August 16, 2015/Fall Semester.
