The Human Resources Department of Pomona College seeks an HR professional who will plan and administer policies and programs relating to employment, recruitment, selection, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and applicant tracking. Manage development, implementation, maintenance, training, assignment of workload, and organization of a full employment program. Must have good analytical and problem solving abilities and well developed coaching skills. Must be a forward thinker, versatile and adaptable, independent, able to be a hands-on facilitator with a proven record of building positive professional relationships and generating outstanding results. Three to five years proven experience in human resources management with a successful consultative style relating to employment, recruitment & selection. Bachelor of Science degree or higher in human resources, business, organizational psychology, or related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. PHR (Professional in Human Resources) designation preferred with California designation. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking, reading, and writing highly desired, but not required.
The regular hours for this full time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division.
