Detailed Job Description



This position will assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with basic enrollment management tasks to ensure excellent customer service to prospective students and families while adhering to the University’s core values.
Summer student employees are expected to be available to work up to 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays will be required as well).

Basic Function:

Conducting campus tours for prospective students and families, general office and administrative duties including scanning, data entry and filing, answering incoming phone calls and placing outbound calls to prospective students and families, preparing materials for prospective and incoming students, picking up and sorting mail, assisting as social media ambassadors.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

*Must have excellent computer, phone, and communication skills
*Must be a current student with Saint Leo University
*Must be organized with attention to detail
*Must represent the University in a professional manner as a student representative to the community
*Must be able and willing to conduct campus tours for both small and large groups of students
*Knowledge of and experience using social media is preferred.
*Must be able and willing to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a current Saint Leo Student. Students graduating in May 2015 do not qualify for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Undergraduate Admissions or Student Services
*Experiencing directing incoming calls and managing the outlook calendar tool
*Prior experience with campus events and tours preferred
*Strong customer service & communication skills
*Strong Organization and time management skills
