Working with the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing, the Associate Vice President of Integrated Marketing is responsible for building and executing upon a strategic integrated marketing strategy for Saint Leo University’s target student populations, including traditional, graduate, online, military, and adult. This position requires the individual to lead a dynamic team responsible for using innovative approaches to elevate brand awareness of Saint Leo nationally, support the University in reaching its targeted enrollment goals, ensure marketing efficiency and effectiveness, and build the University’s reputation among key stakeholders through social media, public relations, and digital, as well as traditional, outreach methods

Basic Function:

• Develop annual marketing plans and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve goals across all Saint Leo University targets, including traditional, graduate, online, military, and adult education center programs
• Direct external marketing communications, including media relations, publications, style guides, the Saint Leo website, blogs, and ensure they are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and meet strategic organizational goals
• Oversee inquiry-to-enrollment messaging including email and social media outreach campaigns
• Provide leadership and support for new degree and non-degree program development as part of the Smart Growth process
• Conduct direct market research, competitor analyses and customer service and retention monitoring processes and initiatives
• Oversee all media buys including digital, television, outdoor, and radio
• Use social media to drive awareness of and engagement with Saint Leo University by current and prospective students
• Create an institutional and system-wide marketing reporting dashboard to track, measure, and analyze performance
• Develop and manage pricing and discount structures for programs and partnerships. Collaborate with University Campus Admissions and Financial Aid to set discount rates for traditional student populations
• Build, develop, and manage marketing and communications team capable of carrying out needed marketing and service strategies
• Utilize marketing and enrollment analytics to reach targeted cost per inquiry and cost per enrollment goals
• Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other relevant field from a regionally accredited college or University required; Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related field required
• Seven or more years of marketing experience with increasing responsibility, preferably in education, healthcare, finance or insurance required
• Demonstrated understanding of national and global markets and distinct needs associated with those markets
• Deep understanding of the power of social media to drive awareness and credibility

• A track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing programs and driving concrete results
• Excellent attention to detail and outstanding writing and editing skills
• Excellent skills for dealing with the external/internal customer
• Excellent oral and analytical skills
• Proficient in all MS office programs

• Ability to manage interpersonal communication in a team environment
• Ability to balance many tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
• Ability to craft powerful and engaging messages
