Texas Woman's University, founded in 1901, is a public university with over 14,000 students. The College of Nursing has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 and offers baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral programs. The programs in Dallas include RN to BS, RN to MS, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator masters and DNP. An increasing number of courses are now offered online. All Dallas programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The Dallas campus is seeking faculty who can teach content in the graduate nursing program in a tenure track position. The successful candidate will engage in teaching, scholarship, and service activities. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field and a Masters degree in nursing. Candidates must be eligible for RN licensure in Texas. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
