Detailed Job Description

Using knowledge of economics and statistics, the Economic Forecaster will (i) download and maintain databanks, (ii) engage in basic economic forecasting and analysis, (iii) build Excel tables for county profiles and workforce development projects, (iv) assist with updating monthly and quarterly databanks, and (v) assist with contract research, economic impact studies, and other socioeconomic-related projects. The position holder will work in a team environment. Position is funded on an annual basis.

Required Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, or Business related field and two (2) years' experience in database management, basic and intermediate level economic forecasting, and data collection and analysis, OR a Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, or related Business field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree and experience a plus. 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 32614.44 Midpoint - $ 47299.20
