The Department of Educational Psychology oversees multiple academic programs that are part of a blended learning program in special education leading to licensure as a K-12 Intervention Specialist and/or a Master of Education degree. This 12-month unclassified position would play a key role in supporting the curricular and programmatic processing within this program, and work closely with department staff and leadership in providing program oversight and administration.
The Program Manager serves to primarily provide course and program coordination support, academic advising, and to assist current students as a liaison with the University offices for student services (e.g. financial aid, registration, bursar, Office of Student Teaching). The duties of this position primarily include broad and ongoing efforts related to program operations and work in collaboration with other staff and faculty within the College of Education, Health, and Society. Opportunities to teach one or more program courses exist for candidates with Master’s degree or higher.
Technology systems: Effectively use technology systems such as student information systems to communicate with, and monitor progress of students through the academic program(s).
Knowledge of, or ability to learn web-based applications used in eLearning such as a learning management system (LMS)
