Under general direction, is responsible for financial contract analysis by creating and preparing routine and ad hoc financial reports/ analyses; maintains various financial reports, fee schedule analyses, revenue projection and market baskets for the SLUCare and clinical departments.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business; supplemented with two (2) years experience or equivalent combination.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares routine and ad hoc financial reports/analyses in comparison with reimbursement rates and reimbursement/utilization trend analysis

Maintains database of contractual physician rates which is used to evaluate physicians’ actual claims receipts against contractual expectations in pursuit of incorrect payments.

Extracts and interprets data writing complex queries using the IDX billing database management system query writing language for analysis and report generation.

Maintains various financial reports, fee schedule analyses, revenue projection and market baskets for the SLUCare and clinical physician based departments.

Produces reports for market analysis information.

Performs other duties as assigned.
