The Residence Hall Coordinator, as an educator, provides direction and ownership for student learning and academic integration while managing the overall administrative, supervisory, and community experiences for a co-educational residence hall area comprised of 150-900 students. The Residence Hall Coordinator is committed to the total development of the student within an inclusive community through a residential experiences actualized in community experiences, intentional conversations, reflection, restorative practices, and group dialogues. The Residence Hall Coordinator position is predicated upon a student learning philosophy that values social justice, community and personal responsibility, spiritual and personal growth, and academic success.

Familiar with different technological platforms (i.e. Maxient conduct database, Qualtrics, Banner, Campus Labs OrgSync, Map-Works)
Ability to understand and implement summative and formative assessment strategies related to departmental learning outcomes and curriculum
Knowledge of the Jesuit identity and its affordances in addressing intercultural competency and social justice education
Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling Education, Social Work, or related field; supplemented one (1) year of related residence life experience.
Supervises student paraprofessional staff; ensures students provide peer leadership and cultural, social, and educational experiences for hall residents; organizes student staff selection and recruitment; and oversees residence hall council.
Oversees the planning and implementation of residence hall programs; and fosters community development and academic collaboration.
Assists with building management and administration; prepares building for openings, closings, and transitions; updates building rosters; provides weekly written reports; manages payroll; manages administrative and programmatic budgets; coordinates damage billing processes; and liaises with campus partners regarding custodial or facility related issues.
Provides crisis intervention and student conduct support; adjudicates student conduct cases; serves on the on-call duty rotation schedule; responds to student emergencies; and accompanies students to hospital when appropriate.
Serves as a liaison to departmental, divisional, and institutional committees and work-groups; supports campus partners in efforts to build an inclusive and supportive environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
