General Statement of Duties:

  • Greet and assist students, examinees, and other staff/faculty in the Assessment Center.
  • Operate testing equipment.
  • Maintain and file assessment/testing participant records and safeguard record security.
  • Compile appropriate student data for reporting and assessment purposes.
  • Schedule or arrange for conferences, meetings, appointments, or similar activities by reserving required facilities, checking the availability of parties involved and notifying appropriate individuals of dates, times and locations to ensure the availability of facilities and attendance by appropriate individuals.
  • Communicate with supervisor, students, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and address complaints.
  • Verify individual eligibility to test.
  • Design and manage appointment schedule for placement testing utilizing a CRM system.
  • Plan and organize the work and schedules of part-time staff by developing and revising work procedures, recommending changes to clerical policy and procedures to supervisors and coordinating unit activities with other employeesof the department.
  • Serve as representative for school-wide Open House.
  • Perform data entry into Colleague and/or Hobsons.
  • Manage the transfer of test units and student records in Accuplacer.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records according to FERPA guidelines.
  • Answer telephones and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Oversee the management of office supplies.
  • Coordinate the implementation of test preparation in conjunction with the Coordinator of Student Assessment.
  • Special duties as assigned.


  • Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in office work; of which at least one year must have been in an administrative capacity
  • Completion of an educational program may substitute for up to two years of the work experience requirement; knowledge and experience in standard office practices
  • Highly developed skills in Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer-service skills
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

Additional Information

Salary: Weekly/ $ 520.55/wk/25/hrs Annual/$ 27,068.77/yr

2 shifts available:

1.      Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-1:00PM

2.      Monday-Tuesday 1:00PM-7:00PM, Wednesday-Thursday 1:00PM-6:00PM,  and Friday 1:00-4:00PM
