Coordinate the implementation, upgrade, maintenance and troubleshooting of the various food service management, customer service and point of sale systems in use by Dining Services. Coordinate the development of system documentation and user training materials for Dining Services systems and provide user training as required. Manage the receiving of invoices and entry of inventory counts into the food service management systems. Coordinate the support for the applications and devices utilized by Dining Services and its customers which are integrated with the CougarCard System. Administrate the time and attendance software and hardware utilized by Dining Services to track the attendance of their temporary employees.
A Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years professional experience OR a combination of education and experience totaling seven (7) years from which comparable knowledge and abilities are acquired. Education and experience may be tailored to specific need requirements of position.
Experience using computerized recipe, menu, purchasing, nutrition and/or inventory management systems.
Experience using the CBORD Food Service Systems.
Experience administrating, supporting and troubleshooting complex computerized management systems in a multi-unit environment.
Experience in the use of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Experience in the use of the Micros 9700, or Micros Simphony Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Experience administrating, supporting and troubleshooting Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Experience administrating, supporting and troubleshooting the Micros 9700, or Micros Simphony Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Competence with Windows Operating Systems.
Experience supervising technical and or clerical staff in a university environment.
Experience working in a food service environment.
Experience working in a university food service environment.
Experience training support staff in the administration, support and troubleshooting of complex management systems in a multi-unit environment.
Experience training end users in the use of complex management systems in a multi-unit environment.
