Detailed Job Description

The Manager oversees all aspects of a multi-million dollar ticket sales operation within the athletic department including, but not restricted to, following state audit guidelines in all cash transactions and deposits, maintaining computer system integrity, hiring, evaluating, and training of staff, working closely with other external directors to maintain communication and develop marketing strategies for ticket sales, establishing and maintaining a philosophy of customer service throughout entire ticket office. Serve as primary sales contact for all external and internal constituents.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated work experience and programming responsibilities with a Paciolan ticketing database, specifically including work with e.venue and t.Fund.

Demonstrated experience working in positions that require customer service, leadership and strong communication skills.

Previous experience working within an intercollegiate or professional Athletic Ticket Office.

Demonstrated sales accomplishments and achievements.

Demonstrated work experience that requires strong time management, fiscal accountability and organizational skills.

Demonstrated work experience that requires an expertise with business practices and internal controls.

Possess excellent report writing skills and have the ability to initiate and complete projects with specific deadlines.

Demonstrated work experience managing post season ticket sales and working with a ticket priority point system.

Advanced degree.
