Under general supervision, coordinates departmental financial management and maintains budget information; this position is responsible for tracking and reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports and requisitions.
Knowledge of business, budgeting, accounting and bookkeeping, grants processes

Ability to perform budget reporting and forecasting

Training equivalent to one year beyond high school; supplemented with two (2) years of related work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Processes requisitions and invoices; prepares cash analysis; compiles data for report of total equipment costs and services; reconciles accounts for deposits/ receipts; oversees all p-card charges and reconciles monthly
Assists with human resources functions; ensures policy and procedure compliance; monitors labor reports; maintains databases; and prepares academic and clinical credentialing paperwork including hiring, promotions, attestations, dues, and enrollment in insurance plans
Prepares ad hoc budget reports and financial reports; provides projections of expenditures; reviews report data and monitors expenses; processes budget reallocations and revisions; and tracks and monitors grant accounts and appropriate expenditures
Maintains department calendars and coordinates schedules; and apprises chairman of upcoming meetings and events
Coordinates and tracks contract services; follows up with contractors regarding payments and contract terms; and may lead the work of clerical staff.
