Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor position to teach courses in sociology.


Teach courses in sociology and social justice studies (introduction to sociology with a global perspective, gender, sexuality, human rights).   For this position, Miami University will not sponsor applicants for H-1B work status.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:  ABD (for appointment as instructor); Ph.D., by date of appointment (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor) in sociology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Desire: Experience in teaching and conducting research in sociology.
