The Asian Studies Program of Bates College, a highly selective private liberal arts college located in south-central Maine, invites applications and nominations for a visiting, one-year position in Japanese Language and Literature to begin Fall, 2016. Ph.D. is preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered. Native/near native proficiency in Japanese and English, a strong commitment to Japanese language pedagogy are required, experience preferred. Ability to teach Japanese culture courses required.

Qualifications

Ph.D. is preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered
