FULL-TIME VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE

The Vice President of Administration and Finance (VP A&F) is the chief financial officer of the college and is responsible for providing leadership and collaborative service in finance, budgeting, purchasing, accounting and reporting systems, facilities and maintenance, safety and security, auxiliary services, and other areas. The VP A&F advises the President and the management team on the impact of long range financial, facilities and organizational planning, and collaborates with internal departments and external agents and constituencies to provide financial information in order to accomplish strategic initiatives. He or she reports to the President and is a member of the President's Cabinet.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will possess at least a Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a record of progressively responsible positions in financial management; and at least five years of direct management authority over line personnel on a college campus. Additional strengths should include excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative working style; and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, and to student access and success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with other campus administrative services (e.g., facilities, safety and security, auxiliary services).
  • Community college experience.
  • Experience with financial software applications, and contributing to the modernization and strengthening of financial and business structures.
