Under general direction, assists with implementation of health informatics systems or systems modifications; provides analytic support for business processes and productivity within all health informatics applications; maintains system administration and operational support activities, including diagnostics, integrity and utilization for all SLUCare activities and sites.

Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with three (3) years of related work experience. Ability to achieve EpicCare Ambulatory EMR or related certification(s) within six (6) months is required.
Participates in planning and implementation of process changes and utilizes all components of Epic, Press-Ganey, GE/IDX, FPSC and other clinical applications;; manages data extraction process; implements complex statistical modeling and trending tools to produce outcome data.
Reviews issue logs, plans and implements workflows, upgrades, and development projects. Serves as primary support contact and coordinates all issues and settings for assigned applications; promotes change control processes and procedures for the SLUCare systems.
Evaluates and recommends improvements to system software,; implements optimization functions; serves as liaison between SLUCare administration, departments, and healthcare partners, as well software vendors for specific applications, ; analyzes processes and related data to recommend automation improvements.
Participates in committees and workgroups to develop policies and procedures; assesses end-user training needs; trains clinical department and medical records personnel on SLUCare systems; provides demonstrations and presentations at committee meetings and other venues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
